an allways crashing kdevelop
 

hi,
i am a very newbie to linux,and today i tried to work on kdevelop.i tried to do c ,and created the project file without any difficulties,but as i went to functions and clicked main.c,the kdevelop crash handler came up and said that kdevelop has crashed,i worked on this for some 10 times ,and this prevails,do help me out..

Well first off what distrobution are you using? How did you install it? Was it part of the initial install process or did you install it afterwards?

Have your tried re-installing it? What was the error message that the crash handler said?

ok,i am working on my computer in the college,(which they have provided) and hence i dont know abt how it was installed.mine is RH 7.2,kdevelop 2.0
the crash handler says KDevelop has crashed and caused the signal 11(SIGSEGV)
and the signal 11 is due to a bug in the application.
what should i do?
