AMSN still doesnt work :P

I hate asking always the same, but I have asked friends and searched on the web and didnt found anything :(

The problem is: before, I had trouble finding where amsn was installed. I run 'locate amsn' and 'wish amsn' and I found it (or I thought so, it was on folder amsn and the file was called amsn).
But when I double-clicked it, a dialog box opened and said (more or less): "Nautilus failed due to a fatal error (segment violation)"
A friend said me that Nautilus is a browser and I had clicked on the wrong file, but as I said, it was on folder amsn and called amsn

So I dunno what I can do. should I uninstall amsn and reinstall it? or the same thing will happen?

Thanks for your help :)

open a terminal
cd into the directory and
./amsn

If that doesn't work, download the source, not the rpm, and extract it in your home directory and repeat above.

I'm a newbie, I don't know many of Linux expresions and such...

could you tell me what's the meaning of (or what I have to do exactly) 'cd into the directory'?

Download from amsn.sourceforge.net the file ending in
.tar.gz
into your home directory

tar xzvf file_you_downloaded

cd msn

./amsn
