aMSN doesn`t let me open firefox.
 

This is the error when I click on the "Messages in the inbox" icon.
Can`t execute application: Mozilla $url. Check preferences.

I did, everythings alright to me, please help.

Tools > Preferences:

On the "Others" tab: Applications: Browser:
Change it to:

firefox $url

Remember to hit "Save" in the bottom-right corner

In my Firefox I dont have preferences under Tools. Only:
web search, downloads, add-ons, error console, page info, clear private data.

Instead I have preferences under Edit.

Can you think of another application which has a "tools" menu, where you may want to express a browser preference?

It may be edit > preferences - you're the one with your version sitting in front of you. Really, you should take some time to explore the menus.
