It seems to be a bug. What is the version of your game?

For this I would suggest you to download the latest 1.2 patch available on their website or you can check on google and download from the website.

Already tried that, I'm on 1.2 .. Do you think it might be an audio problem? or a graphics problem?

Which OS you're using? Is there any graphic card you're using?

This seems to be a graphic problem. It seems that you are using the Intel 965G integrated graphics, which distro in which version are you running? Were there updates before the game stopped working?

I'm on ArchLinux, and I'm using an Intel HD 3000 on board graphics on an i3, on a notebook. Yes, there where updates on Arch Linux.

OK, seems that Intel has only one lib for i965 and higher, my mistake. There seems to be an incompatibility between the game and the driver, if I interpret that correctly. I don't know how to fix that. May be this will be fixed in a later version of either the game or the driver.

What do you mean with "intel has only one lib for i965 and higher?" I really want to be able to play this game again

Sometimes I get this error message

*** glibc detected *** ./Amnesia.bin: malloc(): smallbin double linked list corrupted: 0x0c2cf690 ***
