Hey! That's great! Firebird's untarballed or whatever and sitting there ready to go. I've even put an icon on my toolbar to launch it from - not the RIGHT icon, I can't quite figure how to do that yet so it looks like a blank sheet of paper but it works!
I've seen the icon file, so I know it'll be possible sometime.
I didn't do the "just run the MF script" bit, I unzipped it through that KDE Desktop thingy - old windoze habits die hard!
I need a bit more practice with the URL paths, some stuff I can get it to find and then other stuff is very elusive - can't imagine why that is. I need to do some more reading, I guess.
Thanks for the encouraging suggestions/instructions.
