amarok in gnome

I installed amarok in my ubuntu karmic, and all was fine, I had to manually set up proxy settings for amarok by editing the .kde/share/config/kioslaverc file , Now I am able to fetch the wiki page for the artist but I still can't find any lyrics, it doesn't show any errors, but also does not display anything, just blank box for the lyrics plugin.
