Alignment of desktop with screen.

Since I installed Linux the right margin hides about a half inch of the page Im viewing. Is there an adjustment for this. Works fine with Windows.

If you are talking about the entire screen being shifted right, then most likely the monitor has an auto adjustment that will fix this. If it doesn't look at xvidtune to fine turn your xorg configuration.

If you are referring to viewing web pages, or pdf documents, please clarify your question with more information.

try changing resolution of monitor under System>>Prefernces>>monitor
unless you install nvidia then it would be System>>Administration>>Nvidia

Thank you for your replies. I like the one best that said it will probably take care of itself. Its working. When I asked the question the buttons on the upper right were hidden. Now I can see half of close window. I Just love self healing.
