AlienArena Not Working

Hi Friends,
I downloaded the game alienarena and tried to run it on my AMD2400 ,asus n8xvm system.
Wen i tried initially, i cud run but it was really slow. Then i tried installing nvidia driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9631-pkg1.run . Now glxgear shows 4000FPS .But when i try to run alienarena the system shows blank screen and hangs.
I hope someone will help mewith this.

problem accessing vesafb

Somewhere it showed that the problem with accessing device 'vesafb' no such device it shows
