Alias of a Control Character?

Hi,

Here's what a I want to do... while I'm editing my script in Vi. If I press CTRL-Z, it will be sent to the background. And I have to type "fg" to get my Vi editor back.

I was wondering if there is a way to put fg in my alias list... like alias CTRL-X='fg'

Thanks.
