AHH!!! Sounds!

Ah! I for some stupid reason turned on sounds in Galeon or somewhere, and for the life of me I can't find the place to turn it off. I keep hearing clicks when i surf and I'm trying to listen to tunes. Can anyone tell me how to turn that shit back off?

Maybe it's Gnome or whatever window manager you are using that has event sounds enabled? You'd then need to go to the appropriate control panel or window manager settings area and turn them off in the multimedia/sound section. If it is Galeon, you'll have to edit it's preferences and look for the event sounds and disable them there. 'S about all I can think of at the moment.
