After windows reinstall Can't see Fedora at startup
I had windows xp before(C:\) and installed Fedora(F:\). I was able to see option of choosing Fedora or Dos at startup. But after I installed Windows 2000 in the C:\ drive, I am not able to see Fedora option at the startup. I didn't delete any Fedora partitions or any other partition except the C:\ drive partition. Is there any way of starting Fedora and have the option of starting either Fedora or Dos at reboot like before.
Please Help. Thank you. |
Hi mraghava!!!
Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. Windows always overwrites the boot loader when you reinstall it. What you could do is to boot with your Fedora disk1 and see if there's a rescue mode. If there's, simply reinstall the boot loader and you are all set ;) Good luck! |
