after upgrade to ubuntu 12.04, can install but not play game disc
 

I struggled along with 10.04 for several years, had to get a new computer, they installed 12.04. Have a game disc that worked before, have installed Wine and another Windows compatible package, says my game is installed, when I try to play says "file not found" or just nothing happens.

We need to know the name of the game you are trying to run and any error messages you may have received, how you installed it etc. Cannot help without specific information :)

The game is a Lotto Canada thing that came out years ago, Mini Golf, we saved all the numbers off our losing tickets because we enjoy the game. I think the point is that I could play it under 10.04, but can't get it to work on 12.04. We also got about 12 discs to load the game, none of them work. I have downloaded Wine, which is what I used to use to play the game. The error messages I get are "file not found" or when I click on the icon on my desktop, nothing happens. It never comes up. It installs, uses the wizard, says it is complete, then nothing.

How I install is put in the disc, click on the Mini Golf that comes up, download setup, download exe. use Wine to open, comes up with an icon on my desktop, but no game.
