After reboot the sytem hangs with a letter L

Hi Linux Guru's

I was installing RH linux 9.0 in my PC . I have selected lilo boot loader. When the installation is completed after reboot of the pc for the first time the system hang's with a letter 'L'. I have win 2k installed earlier before installing linux in fat-16 partion.

Any thoughts gentleman......

You most likely didnt install LILO on the MBR (Master Boot Record), use your cd or installation disk to reinstall the bootloader and it should fix the problem.

Good Luck

i have seen this kinds of errors
lilo tries to be on the 1st drive this is hda(primary master)
so one solution can be making that primary master but that would involve a lot of other modifications also

regards
