I use a variety of methods,
For example: Download zd1211-firmware
Then I use the command: cp-R zd1211-firmware / * / lib/firmware/zd1211
But no results

From your lspci output, you don't have wireless. Could it be USB? If so, please post the output of lsusb.

EDIT: Is it this one? Maybe take a look here.

I've seen.
dpkg-i zd1211-firmware_2.21.0.0-1_all.deb
dpkg-i wireless-tools_29-1.1_amd64.deb
Print the installation was successful, but without any result,
The results of my lsusb command is:

You could also consult the Debian Wiki - WiFi

EDIT: Just saw the lsusb. Have you tried modprobe zd1211?

Help me

craigevil 06-02-2010 06:53 AM

$lsmod | grep zd1211

Does the module show up?

Install a newer kernel from the backports repo. http://www.backports.org/dokuwiki/do...d=instructions

ZyDAS zd1211 54 MBit/s devices

The modules using this firmware are
zd1211*
To install the firmware
apt-get install zd1211-firmware
You can confirm you have installed the firmware by checking for the following files

* /lib/firmware/zd1211/zd1211

Looking at http://wiki.debian.org/zd1211rw it appears that your device should work in Lenny with the current kernel. Go through the steps again carefully.

You tell me the answer (http://wiki.debian.org/zd1211rw), I have seen it, and in accordance with its step by step tips to do. But to now no results. Still can not connect to the network.

I guess probably my kernel version is too low, so I try to compile a more advanced version of the kernel, but still no effect so far.
