After installation CentOS Linux, computer is not connecting to network

Hi
I installed CentOS 6.0 as Desktop.
I am not able to connect it to network.
I looked for wireless options but it is showing nothing.
I didn't use cable till now.

During installation when a tab "Configure Networking" came but it was not clickable. After the complete installation, I tried to find out the wireless connections, but I am not able to see anything.
Please guide me how to connect it to the internet.
Thanks in advance
Dev

Is there a Linux driver for your wireless card?

You can find out what card you have by using lspci in a bash shell to list your hardware.

RHEL 6 and CentOS 6 are mostly manual OS's .A lot of things are not done "automatically" for you
They are designed for a headless server first and foremost , and the office and Laboratory desktop second .Home use dead last .
you might want to read the cent wiki
