after install Slackware 12.1
after installation Slackware 12.1 on my pc, i get the following message:
triggering udev events: /sbin/udev trigger-retry-failed. This is bug of software or not? Thank you for reply at my answer. Martius7 |
Does the OS completely bootup after the error or does it stall? Can you give full dmesg output or post your logs of this error? Do you have a wireless card perhaps? I've heard of this occurring with the rc.wireless invoking when not needed.

Are you sure that's the message and it's not "Triggering udev events: /sbin/udevtrigger --retry-failed"? If you're getting this message, it's not an error. All it's telling you is that it's running the udevtrigger program, with the option "--retry-failed". Read the man page for udevtrigger, if you want to know what it does..

The next thing you should see is a login prompt. Slackware doesn't boot to the GUI by default. |
