Unhappy After effects of updating wireless hardware for Linux...

I have just installed Ubuntu 9.04 onto my laptop alongside Windows XP. Apparently I have to load firmware to the Broadcam wireless chip.

Will this cause problems when using wireless while running in Windows?

Thanks!

There is a difference between doing a firmware upgrade and installing the firmware driver needed to use broadcom chipsets under linux. There should be no impact whatsoever to your windows environment (at least I haven't had any impacts in the last 5 years of dual booting...) Hope that helps.
