Advice on potential boot problem.
I installed ubuntu from the live cd onto a seperate 80gb drive. I have XP on the other 80gb drive. XP is on the primary and ubuntu on the slave.
When i reboot i get an option screen asking whether to boot Ubuntu or XP.................all good. But i want to format the slave drive (with ubuntu on) because i need the space now. My questions is this, If I just wipe the slave drive and reboot will XP boot as normal ? or will it cause problems ? Is there any things i may need to do to to the MBR ? or anything ? Cheers. |
Have I posted this in the wrong forum ?
