Hi Bestdale,

I run Debian on my 901, which is fine but I wouldn't have wanted it to have been my first installation experience (otherwise I might have given up on Linux altogether 8-/). There are, though, a couple of variants of Ubuntu developed specially for the Eee: Eeebuntu, which comes in three versions, including Standard which has a full desktop and Netbook with the simplified Ubuntu Netbook Remix interface; and Easy Peasy, which used to be called Ubuntu-Eee, but now supports other models of netbooks, but only comes with the simplified interface.
