adsl-setup for usb on verizon
 

i have no ethernet port on the comp im try to get the net on for slackware 9.1 and cant figure out a way to get it to connect through the usb port on my external modem i got from verizon. i checked the logs and all it had was verizon dsl help specified for ethernet port :/ any help would be appreciated

as root?

does nothing, i think it assumes theirs a eth# present, i have no ethernet connection

Sorry I can't help more, but I have zero experience with Slack. I don't know what tools to use, etc.

its alright, thx for the atempt thou, ill ceep picking at it though, ill eventualy come up with some sort of solution and post it here since i saw no real documentation for the usb problem.
