Adobe reader, problem in viewing pdfs inside Firefox 3
Hello,
I use Firefox 3 in a Fedora 9 box and I have installed Adobe Reader. The problem is when I am trying to view pdfs inside Firefox. Usually I get a blank page and/or the tab is freeze and I have to go back. A few times I can see the pdfs. To mention that I have install pdf download extension. I have no problems to see pdfs inside epiphany. Any help on this is much appreciated. John |
I use Evince to open pdfs and it always work.

If the Adobe Reader plugin is enabled you should not have any problem viewing PDFs inside Firefox. Maybe you have to wait a longer time for bigger files, since the system downloads them for displaying.

The Adobe Reader plugin is enabled but indeed I have problems viewing PDFs inside FF.
It is not an issue of pdf size. I have compared to view the same file inside FF and download it (using different tabs) and when download is completed I have still a blank page in the first tab. |
