adobe flash player is not working in ubuntu 12.04

I am facing problems in opening some of the video and contents from some web sites. I figured out that adobe flah player is not working properly in my system. I have installed a fresh copy of Ubuntu 12.04 precise version. I have executed these commands but still i am unable to see the contents related to flah player.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

I will be very thankful for any help

Regards,
Raheel

It's deprecated,... but install hal... I found that on Ubuntu's forums...

Code:
sudo apt-get install hal
If that works, let us know...

Hello..you need to go to Ubuntu App installer..and go to Adobe Flash Plugin..and
it will say to uninstall the Adobe installer for Flash..
click it and it will install Adobe flash player..
