Maybe I am having trouble because my Ubuntu is 64 bit?
With IE I could only install it with the 32 BIT one.

Thanks

Even if your Ubuntu is 64bit a 32bit plugin should work without much issues.

With Vista I could not install the plugin on the 64 bit Internet Explorer. It would only install with the 32 bit Internet Explorer.

Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Select .deb for Ubuntu and download the file. Once download is complete double click it. It will ask for your password and install it.

Tried what you said, and this is what I got.

Error: Wrong architecture 'i386'

Get the flash player 10 for 64 bit linux here:

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

When you've opened the .tar.gz, you'll need to copy the libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib64/firefox-addons/plugins.
