Adept Installer not found eror
When I try to install/uninstall programs, I get this error... adept_installer not found. Help. I'd love to access my installs, as well as improve performance and what have you. If anyone can help this poor newbie, I'd deeply appreciate it.
Sincerely, Clerik |
What distribution are you using?
Since you mention Adept, it implies Ubuntu or one of it's relatives. Do you maybe have Synaptic? |
Adept-installer
I'm running Kubuntu 7.04. I've had it going without fail for some time. First it said another program was using the installer. Then it said it couldn't find it. Any assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Adept Installer Working
Thanks for the guidance. I had to go wide and type in the error message on Google. The answer I found worked. Maybe it will help someone else.
Type into Terminal sudo dpkg --configure -a if did not work, then sudo apt-get -f install If it doesn't work, at least its a start. I was able to install and uninstall packages. I'm so glad. I even grabbed the installer for KDE, just in case. Happy hacking. Ever, Clerik |
