Adding XP to Laptop

I bought a Panasonic CF-74 with XP wiped and Ubuntu installed. I can't add XP back from a CF-74 restore disk or XP disk. I would like to have both with a dual boot.
I want to go back to Windows XP. However I can't uninstall Ubuntu since I can't boot up from CD nor USB no matter how I change the BIOS setting. I chose CD or USB but it will go straight to Ubuntu. How can I get rid of it without taking out the hard drive and have it formatted from another computer

While it's booting, do you see a message like "press any key to boot from CD"? If not, what about a button press to choose boot device?
