adding user on debian system

i installed debian on my box , and created some user during installation , they working fine with console and gdm login bu t when i created manually , using useradd , it working with consle mode but not allowing me gdm logoin. giving me error .xession-error /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/bin/X11/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/lib/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0" "nitinp" /etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup... mkdtemp: private socket dir: No space left on device |

no there is amble space for home .
as i said it working fine with console mode but , not allowing to login with graphical mode: i have given you error file. |
