adding nfs support in a initrd file for pxe

i have some problems with mint13 installing it from a pxeserver netinstall

since mint13 dont have a netboot support, i am trying to start it the following way

extracting the mint 13 iso on the pxe server, into a nfs shared folder /images

adding nfs support into its initrd.lz and mount the nfs on the initrd.lz, as its iso-search folder /iso

however, i dont know if mint13's initrd support nfs.. how do i know that?

thanks

This may be a round about way and I never tried it. Why not use ubuntu's netboot and just point it to your mint files?

Wonder if it is an exact name issue someplace. Sorry. Thought it had a chance.

If you want to get farther out on a limb, try gpxe boot to a mounted image, iso at a nfs or ftp tftp or http resource.

Hope someone else has a better solution.
