Adding applications to 'K' in KDE

This is a very basic question, so sorry beforehand. I am new to KDE, I just got it up and running a few days ago. Well I installed aMSN, and every time i want to run it i ahve to open the shell and run it, and while its running i have to keep the shell open. Now my question is: is it possible to add aMSN to the 'K' you see at the left bottom of your screen (similar to Start in windows), under application, or something. Is this possible?

Yes it is. Right click the 'K' and select Menu Editor. Right click the 'Internet' and select 'add new item'. At the dialogue, call it something (mine is aMSN) and click ok. In the options which open, in the 'Command' line type in "amsn" minus the quotes. Click the big button to assign an icon.

Click File--> Save and then quit - you will now have a menu option.
