how do i add a programme to the applications menu
eg:-installed real player ,
now i want media player to appear in the application -->sound & video ,menu
distro :FC3
desktop :gnome 2.8

I don't know FC#, but I'm sure there a way to find
the menu editor. In Xandros/KDE, I can click

-> Launch (start at the lower left)
-> applications
-> system
-> menu editor

Once you find the editor, you need to specify the command
(the same command you would use on a console).

In Knoppix (Debian-based), you do this by Start -> Settings -> Menu Editor
