Active Directory authentication not working with Samba shares

I have a minimal install of centos and I am trying to set up a few Samba shares with active directory authentication. I joined to the domain without a problem but when I try to access the shares from a domain windows vista box I basically get an access denied. I open up windows explorer and punch in the path "\\computername\testshare" and it pops up with a username and password window that never accepts my credentials. I am able to obtain a kerberos ticket from the domain. A former employee had setup our current Samba server so I have had a working samba server to go off. I have basically mirrored the smb.conf, nsswitch.conf, krb5.conf and anything else I can get my hands on from the working Samba box. I feel like I am close just missing one little step. It is acting like the Samba box isnt authenticating domain credentials like it should be. I should be able to open up windows explorer and type "\\computername\" and it should return all of the shares available but it asks me for my credentials instead.

Has anybody ran into this before?

I figured out my problem, I removed the Samba server from the domain and added it back. Now it is working as advertised.

Glad to see you have figured it out! Replying to take this off of the zero reply list.

Cheers,
