Acer Aspire One Linpus lite


Today my Menu Bar and WiFi icon disappeared from my desktop. How can I get it back as I am no longer able to connect to the internet , seee my battery status or log out ?

recharge the battery and reboot
even a "hard" reboot if needed ( pull the battery out - while NOT plugged in to the wall -for 30 sec. and put it back in) .

see if that helps .

I had this same problem in a update a while ago.

What you do is you right click on the bottom bar and go to add to panel and you add you status thing where ever you want in the little window that pops up and you select it. (If its not in the place you want right click on it and go to move and move it where ever.) To get your main menu right click on the bar go to add to panel and on the little pop up window it should be menu bar.

There are other way of doing this but I thought this way is faster for me and easer to customize the bars on the screen.

He has a problem with his panel and you are suggesting, that he should take out his battery? Why? This can damage his filesystem. Bad advice.
