acer aspire connected to wifi but browser won't open
 

Hi...new to site and new to Linux. Just bought this netbook 2nd hand and everything easy to understand but browser won't open. I have seen similar issues on this site and have been unsuccessful in trying the previous suggestions. I am not super technical but willing to learn! Please help!
