Accidentally disabled my Gnome panel...

And I can't find a way to bring it back. How do I get my Gnome panel back? I'm using Fedora Core 4 with GNOME.

I assume you also have KDE available.

If you go to log in, on the screen where you have to type in your user name, can you click on "session" at the bottom of the screen, select GNOME" and log in using that?

If you can, then you should log in again and make GNOME your permanent choice if that is what you want.

I think you misunderstood my problem..

I do have KDE available but that is kinda irrelevant.

See, what I mean by "panel" is the taskbar. So when I'm on GNOME, my whole screen is basically just my wallpaper + icons, no panel/taskbar or anything.. which is frustrating.

Next option. Did you roll it up out of the way? Check the bottom of the screen: left or right. I don't know where gnome will put it. Do you see a rectangular button with an arrow on it? Click on it to un-roll the tray.

If that fails, right-click on the desktop. In the pop-up menu, look for anything to do with the panel, and start trying options.
