Accidentally deleted log in screen theme; can not access desktop gui

Hi, I am new to arch Linux despite using it for many years. My husband usually fixes everything. I accidentally deleted my oxygen login theme from the settings, then my computer rebooted for some reason.... it does this once in a while... now it says cannot open theme file /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/oxygen.

I click ok and it goes to the shell I think....

Arch Linux 3.2.4-1-Arch (Corvus) (tty1)

Corvus login:

From there I enter my login info but I can not access my GUI kde desktop....

I could use some help as the husband is not available at this moment.

Thank you for reading and helping me

Meade

On the console issue this command:

Quote:
-$ kdm
or these series of two commands:

Quote:
-$ echo "exec startkde" > ~/.xinitrc
then

Quote:
-$ startx
At least a DE (Desktop Environment) shall be presented to you.

Good luck.
