accessing folder with 'space' in the name

Hi friends,

I created a folder call code progress(with 'space') on linux Red hat 8.0 machine. I can normally access the folder through browser, but when i try to access in konsole or xterm i get can't access it, it gives me a message bash: NO File or Directory. How can i access folder with space in the name through terminal.

thanks

put a slash before the space, eg
Code:
cd code\ progress
or use auto-complete

you might also use:

Code:
cd 'code progress'
or

Code:
cd "code progress"

oh, and autocomplete means using the <tab> key ...
