Access to windows partition?

Alright - I don't have a whole lot of time to explain my problem, but if need be, I can explain more after I get home tonight.

What i'm looking to do is access my mp3's and whatnot that are on my windows partition (NTFS - WinXP)

I have two drives : XP pro installed on /dev/hda1 ( c:\ )
and Mandrake 9.1 installed on /dev/hdb2

I'm pretty sure I mounted the partition right but i'm still not sure how I can look at my windows files. ( i think the mount point was win_c ? )

Yes i'm really new to linux - matter of fact this is my first day running it. So if i didn't explain clear enough please let me know and i'll do my best to clarify.

Any and all help is appreciated

please search this site for "ntfs" for a lot of identical posts.

Check /mnt/win_c, that is where Mandrake puts mounted drives/shares. If I remeber, Mandrake automaticaly mounts all the hardrives. NTFS partitions are read only though (on MD 8.2).
