about text mode


i know that this forum has text mode too
where do i select that ?
i dont want no images

If you don't want to see ads then you have to be a contributing member. Some people use ad blockers, but I don't think thats being very supportful to the efforts made to run and maintain this site.

what you just replied has nothing to do with what ive asked
i just said linuxquestions has a text mode in the sense that
it has a mode where no images are displayed only text

Use lynx as your webbrowser. It's a console based one - if you only want text, then that is what you'll get.

You could also try being more polite with someone who was trying to help you.

Sorry if I misunderstood what you said but I think you could have been a bit more polite in your response. Anyway this site has not text only mode. If you don't want to see images, than use a text only browser like lynx, links or elinks. Text only results sometimes show up on google, but this is from some sort of archive.
