About SATA disk detection.
 

Hi,

My teacher asked us to program on the platform of linux. A final test is

a samll program which detect sata disk. The mainboard supports the

disk's plug and play. Would you please tell me where can I get some open

source that can do the similar work, and is there any source the system

provides itself?

That said, there are many things that are be important for usable SATA detection -- kernel support being the first.

I have a problem in detecting SATA disk, can some one help me in this?
Im using Hp machine, Sata is seagate

hp compaq dc7600. mini tower
