hi all,

I use lpr command on redhat-9 system. There is a CUPS system on LAN network. How can I know the IP address of the computer-system that issued the lpr command?

please reply.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

You can look into the log files for this /var/log/cups/access.log(use grep). And i think lpr can be executed only by the root or the user ,who set the print job using lp.
