Abit nf8

I have a shared system. One half Linux and the other Windows. I recently did an upgrade to Windows 7 and now I cannot access the internet on the Windows side, and I cannot find the driver?? In Ubuntu I can only access via wireless not through the ethernet network adapter. The motherboard is abit nf8v. Sorry, more of a Windows question as to Linux. Any help would be great!!

Did you check to see if your Ethernet card is listed in the Hardware Compatibility List?

Anyway, if you have Internet via wireless, you can easily connect that way all the time. Maybe get a router and set up a wireless network in your home to use instead of Ethernet.

Oh, and what wireless adapter do you have? I know my Linksys Wireless N Dual-band PCI adapter works just fine with Ubuntu out of the box.

I have a linksys wusb54g ver. 4 wireless adapter. linux has no problem locating the driver and works just fine. On the windows side, I cannot find a driver that will work with windows 7.
