hey this is my 1st post : )...anyway i haven't used fedora but i guess u probably right click on the menu button and click on properties...is there some sort of control center or a system settings place?

nothing happens on right-click and i have searched on the menus... that is why i ask.

control center only shows me the same icons i can already see in preferences menu. i can't really see what it's point is at all...

lol, you are using GNOME ?
in KDE you can right click the menu and select config menu... but not in gnome.

ive been searching for ages, i cannot find a program, nor a config file to edit manually :(

but if any1 knows.... id like to know too.

What -exactly- do you want to do to the menu? The word "configure" is a little vague.

I've never seen Fedora, but I'm assuming (yeah, I know) that it doesn't actually have a main menu of it's own. Instead, it probably loads a separate graphical user interface like Gnome or KDE, and it's that GUI's main menu you want to configure. In Gnome, I can right-click on the menu and then click on "Properties".

Menu editing is disabled in Fedora. See the FAQ at http://fedora.artoo.net/ for common Fedora questions such as these.

Menu editing is desables by defualt settings only.... defualts can be changed.

kle. Mul probleeeeeeem, pika ee-ga. Sihuke jama, et lasin mandrake peale, aga paadunud win32 kasutajana ei oska mitte s...agi(vabandust sõnavara pärast). Näiteks, kuidas programme tööle panna. Ainus mida oskan on internetti minna. Kui sul aega on, võiksid miskisugusele newbie lehele vidata, või ise natuke selgitada, aga sellele kyssale tahass küll vastust saada... Mis arvuti see on, millel ma midagi teha ei oska?

C:rikkis arvuti

Õige vastus B, muudega, kui muud üle ei jää, siis lahti ikka oskan lammutada.

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! EMERGENCY!!!

I followed the steps listed above on Fedora Core 3 Test 1:

Now my entire menu has disappeared! When I open it, everything above Run Application is gone. I really really need help fixing this as soon as you can, please!!! Thank you!!!

Okay, I fixed it by moving default-modules.conf.without-menu-editing back over top of default-modules.conf, overwriting it. Is there anything else I can or should do?
