a stupid question, but i am a newbie !!!
 

i have just today got linux mandrake up and running, my daughter would like me to put it on her computer as well !!!!.

But on one condition only, that she has a desktop background and a Screen Saver of the Famous Linux Penguin LOL.

any idea where they can be downloaded please

Did you check the already existing screen savers? I remember seeing a Tux one by default ;) As for backgrounds:

You can and should also check the "ScreenShots" thread in Linux - General, there are quite a few references to places to get Linux backgrounds ;)
