a runall command?


Hey, I'm new to linux and im on ubuntu. I have a homework problem where my teacher said to do the following in a folder containing a bunch of different files
make
runall

how do i do the runall command?
ty

sorry i asked too soon. runall is a file in the folder without an extension like runall.xxx. I'm not sure what to do since when i type runall it just says command not found

The PATH var shows what dirs the system searches to find a cmd.
Your current path (where you are at any time) is known as '.' and is not usually in the PATH var.
To see what is there
Code:
echo $PATH
to run a prog in curr path, try
Code:
./cmd
use
Code:
pwd
to see what dir you are in

PS your teacher and your courseware should tell you this stuff.
