Exclamation A quick question about strip..


What does exactly the strip command do?? Will there be any problem in stripping all those binaries in /usr/bin just to increase the disk space ?? Just curious ...

stripping can screw up all kinds of stuff.
make backups, and probably only strip the debugging info.
