a quick question


im re-doing a linux box and i cant remember the place that the config file for eth0 is stored. im just going to get my cable back up and going on it. thanks

It depends on what distro you are using...For RH and friends it should be at
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

Currently I'm using slackware 9.1 and the file is conviniently located at
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf
