A question about quinta booting

I want to quinta boot windows 98, windows xp, windows vista, fedora 9, and backtrack 2. I want windows 98 for the games and for true dos. I want win xp for the games and the stability. I want vista for dx10. I want fedora 9 for functionality. I want backtrack2 for security.

So, if I install windows 98, windows xp, and windows vista in that order. When I install fedora 9, will grub detect those other os on the bootloader configuration screen? I mean, each time I install an os I will tell it to overwrite the MBR. So when I install fedora 9, I'll tell grub to overwrite the MBR. Do you guys think that grub will detect those operating systems on that grub default boot configuration? Any tips or ideas on how I should I approach this? Installing backtrack2 will be easy afterwards, so I'm just concerned about this.

Also, I have a normal Sony DVD Player. I recently bought Fedora 9, but it looks like it was burned, as in dvd burned. My Sony DVD Player has trouble reading it, but I used it on my friends laptop and his dvd burner reads it fine.

Is it safe to say that DVD Burners have a higher chance of reading burned dvds than regular dvd players? If so, can you guys recommend a good brand and model of DVD Burners?

I'm not a big fan of grub myself and I'm not sure if it detects anything automatically. I'd just partition the drive and slap the installs on the drive, then sort out the boot loading afterwards.
