a little help .... please
 

I am trying to get a web server up on mandrake 9.1. The package was installed during the original setup. When I tried to configure it, it said that the module was not there. I removed the apache package and tried to download the rpm from rpmfind. It said openssl-prog and libapr.so.0 libaprutil.so.0 was needed for the install. I tried to download openssl-progs but it said the same package is needed for the install. aborted. Help... I know that the web server was at least up at one time. Not sure what happened. Is there one package I can download with all the bells and wistles?

Go to freshrpms.net and just download apt-get. It will solve all of your rpm problems for you. Don't forget to apt-get synaptic and run it to make things a little easier on yourself.

that same thing happened to me

I am biffed at setting up a webserver. I am running 9.1 mandrake and I installed the web server modules from the original setup. I would like to know what I have to do now to get it up and running. Can somebody list the sequence of events that I need to perform from this point ? Thank You...
