a gps on an aspire one : where find the driver pl2303 (usb to serial) ? plz
Hi I'm french (sorry ^^)and I would like to have a GPS with my Aspire One (Linux Linpus Lite).
I've buy a Royaltek RGM 3800 with USB. That's work on windows XP but not reconized in my Aspire One Linux.
So I search the chipset pl2303 (usb to serial) for my gps (usb link). My aspire One Linus have number 2.6.23.9lw.
Thx a lot for any answer...
The PL2303 is supported natively under Linux through the aptly named "pl2303" module. Did you try loading the module with the command "modprobe pl2303"?

Ray, welcome. This thread is quite old. You'll get a better response if you start a new thread. Be sure to mention which distro you have, including version, and maybe also which kernel you have the new thread.
