a genuine question


hey linux lovers
i jst awitched to debian the thought of completely getting rid of
windows problems
but now i found tthat my system speed has reduced a lot and i am not even able to access internet through moizilla browser.its really very slow.yukkkkkkkk
i have 256 mb ram
p4 915 glvga
80 gb hard disk
can some one help me out
really in need of help to carry further
linux passion

a genuine question but also a genuinely useless title... please make them more informative in future.

Can you define what you actually mean by slow? Do programs take a long time to load and run, or are you citing network issues? are websites alone slow to load?
