I guess you got the gaming edition http://new.mandrakestore.com/mdksa/i...ANG_=en#GOTO_6 in collobaration with http://www.transgaming.com
these guys at transgaming are mantaining winex project which allows you to play windows popular game titles on your linux machine, I suppose, you got a box set, there should be some note on transgaming - their service is on pay-per-month basis, and of course you can get a development version of winex off the CVS tree, just visit the aforementioned websites for more details.

Ok then, if you really want ot play these games visit the transgaming site
http://www.transgaming.com
Then decide for yourself if you want to subscribe to their services or you want to play them for free with a little bit of hassle. What I mean by hassle - you will need to compile the development version of winex - on the site go to downloads link then click on CVS tree -> terms and conditions statement will be present -> agree/don't agree -> in the former case there will be instructions on how to get the latest snapshot off the CVS tree, download the tree (note on slow connection it's going to take awhile) then locate the directory (it's called wine [without x]) cd into it with
cd wine
read the documentation and as root in console run
./tools/wineinstall
if there're no errors, edit .wine/config file found under /root directory to reflect your system and you are good to roll - pop in cd, mount it with
mount -tiso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
wine /mnt/cdrom/wherever/games/are.exe
I bet you'll have more questions, just ask

When you booted up your system, do you get a graphical login?
If so there should be other windowmanagers in pull down menu if they are installed.
